Computer Skills Training

¨ Computer Skills 1: The parts of the system; how to turn on and shut off the system; the terminology needed to begin using a personal computer; how to use a mouse and keyboard; the parts of a window; how to create, edit, save and print.
¨ Computer Skills 2: Formatting and editing; using the tool bars; using Excel; creating resumes and cover letters; conducting on-line job searches and completing on-line applications.

 

 

Medicaid Service Coordination

¨ Assists individuals with developmental disabilities in creating individualized person centered plans, obtaining chosen valued outcomes, setting goals and developing self-advocacy skills.

¨ Assists individuals in identifying service needs, linking individuals to needed services and providing oversight of services.

¨ Assists individuals in navigating financial, residential, vocational, social, habilitation and medical systems.
