WORK CENTER

Gateway Community Industries offers a variety of vocational experiences to enhance the student's transition from school to work. These vocational experiences can be tailored to meet the student's needs.

Upon entering the program, each student is assigned a vocational counselor who will be responsible for counseling the student and monitoring his or her progress while maintaining close contact with the school district. Students will not only obtain job skills, but will also receive personal adjustment training.

Within the Work Center, students may train in one of our many work areas and /or participate in our Exploratory Employment Program. Work experiences can also be provided within the community.
