The Gateway Supported Apartments Program provides support to mentally ill individuals as they strive to successfully integrate into independent community living in the housing they have chosen. The participants play an active role in identifying their housing needs as well as actively pursuing the skills needed to maintain their preferred long term housing.

The Supported Housing Program has no expected length of stay. Residents are supported to obtain public entitlements to futher their independence with the goal of future independent community housing.

Supported housing apartments are located in a variety of communities in both Dutchess and Ulster Counties. Residents are encouraged to participate in the selection process.
