Full time positions available responsible to manage the day to day operations of the regional program, including the responsibility for staff supervision and the safe and therapeutic care of the residents, in accordance with Gateway’s goals and certifying regulations. Assure effective delivery of habilitative services. Function as a Qualified Mental Health/Retardation Professional (QMH/RP).
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service field; 2 years experience preferred. Working experience must include at least one year supervisory experience and a valid NYS driver’s license; must maintain a driving record which meets the insurable criteria of the Agency’s automobile insurance carrier; must have a favorable result from Background check, facilitated through fingerprinting and mandated by NYS law Chapter 575.

Full time position available responsible for transporting material to and from Gateway and its customers. Receive and move material within Gateway.
Requirements: HSD or equivalent plus 6 months truck driving experience. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a forklift and pallet jack. Valid NYS CDL Class A or B Driver’s license and must maintain a driving record that meets the insurable criteria of the Agency’s automobile insurance carrier. Must pass a medical examination successfully.

Full time position available responsible for developing internship and/or employment opportunities, preparing individuals for internships and/or employment and, upon placement, providing functional assessment and on-site/off-site training.

Coordinator of Counseling & Training – Grade 8
Full time position available responsible to administer and coordinate Gateway’s Vocational Counseling Services in the Kingston facility supervising the vocational instructor and functioning as a Medicaid Waiver counselor, a personal/work adjustment training instructor and case manager responsible for planning and implementing individually designated vocational rehabilitation plans assigned trainees, in accordance with treatment team recommendations and agency goals.
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation or related field plus one year experience in vocational rehabilitation or Bachelor’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation or related field plus two years experience in vocational rehabilitation. Must have a favorable result from Background check, facilitated through fingerprinting and mandated by NYS law Chapter 575.

Full time position available responsible for c oordinating the provision of vocational information and support to consumers/families and mental health clinicians for the purpose of facilitating consumer’s transition to vocational activities. Develop relationships with mental health practitioners throughout the county with the purpose of increasing the number of individuals referred to vocational services.
